Welcome to my portfolio. My name is Roseline Chioma Amete. I am a highly motivated and resourceful communication and research professional with over four years of cognate experience garnered through multinational education and work in strategic communications, higher and secondary education teaching, research and data analysis, and health promotion. As a communications scholar and practitioner, I specialise in the Development Communication field with particular interests in health communication, social and behavioural change communication, digital media, and misinformation studies, especially as it pertains to the African continent. I also have diverse interests as an African studies scholar, strongly backed by my exposure to various development-related issues as a student in the prestigious European Interdisciplinary Master African Studies (EIMAS) Erasmus+ Scholarship programme. These interests are in the areas of conflict and peacebuilding, climate change and environmental sustainability, migration, education, decolonisation (of knowledge), gender, and human rights.
I am also a highly creative individual and a tech enthusiast. This accounts for my diverse experience and training in creative writing, product and graphic design, digital marketing, data analysis, and virtual assistantship. As a tech-savvy person, I use many digital tools proficiently for added efficiency and effectiveness. These include Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools like Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, Slides/PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms, Sites, etc. Others include Canva, Zoom, Trello, Mailchimp, Slack, Figma, Grammarly, Adobe Photoshop, social media tools, Power BI, SPSS, MAXQDA, etc. Overall, I am a fast and passionate learner, who takes ownership of projects and will put in the work to exceedingly satisfy your job expectations. I am interculturally competent and work easily and very well with teams to produce quality work.
